React App - Space Apps Challenge

Architect and Lead Developer for NASA’s Space Apps Challenge Hackathon website. The application services the yearly event with over 8,000+ teams and 50,000+ registrants. Built with a Wagtail CMS back-end, Node GraphQL API, and Next.js front-end, the application manages all aspects of the event including, account creation, event registration, team creation and collaboration, project submission, project judging, and has in the past included a chat application built through RocketChat.

React Front-End - Under Armour

Provided software development support for numerous features products and services with the Under Armour ecommerce ecosystem. Worked embedded with the UA Ecomm team to launch new product pages, upgrade internal services and APIs, integrate with new payment systems, and develop internal analytic and customer service tools.

API Developement - USO Mobile App

The USO Mobile App provides numerous services to current and retired US military members and their families. The mobile offers information, communication, and assistance to these members around the world. This project required updates and refactoring their mobile app’s back-end API. The primary work include upgrading to an OAuth login service and expanding the back-end data services to new scheduling software.

WordPress - Healing Earth

WordPress migration from Drupal 7. This project involved migrating an online text book from an out-date Drupal site to a new WordPress CMS. Created custom scripts to migrate the data and re-work the themes and styles to match the new CMS.

WordPress Development - Regent Ed

Custom WordPress Theme + Beaver Builder Page Builder Integration. Sole Developer on the project crafting the theme from scratch based on the approved design.

WordPress Redesign - Nortec

WordPress theme re-build and update. Refactored an out-of-date WordPress theme with modern best practices and structure. Crafted new stylesheet to meet client design requests.

WordPress Development - Looking Glass

Custom WordPress theme development. Worked with a team of developers to build out a complex and highly customized WordPress theme, included a custom Dashboard UI/Page Builder with ACF Pro Plugin.

React App - Valentine's Day

React web application designed to let users craft and share a customized Valentine’s Day e-card. Built with React + Redux, this application led users through various stages of card crafting including, card layout/theme, curated message selection, and webcam/image upload for a personalized touch. The resulting image was able to be download, saved, and shared.

Drupal Migration - Paul B Parts

Migrated large E-Commerce website from Drupal 7 to WordPress + WooCommerce. Re-created the Drupal 7 theme part for part in WordPress and integrated WooCommerce into the new theme. Automated migration of product line and customer history from Drupal to WordPress database.

React App - Ugly Sweater Factory

An interactive image creation app that allowed users to make their own ugly sweater and share the results. The app used react + redux + react konva to create a mutli-staged interactive canvas. Users could select sweater patterns for specific areas of the sweater and complete the process by adding their own image via upload or webcam. The resulting image was downloaded, saved, and shared.

WordPress Development - Learning Links

WordPress custom theme and plugin development for large social education website. Included the development of an article bookmarking plugin, which let users save favorite post and share saved lists with other users.

React App - Laureate Education

Built an interactive web application using React + Redux + Thunk. The app re-created 2 student oriented lab experiments in a virtual setting. Testing food samples for chemical properties, students were able to view simulated results, answer questions and track progress, receiving a certificate of completion at the end.
